'Pure Magic': Bruce Willis & Demi Moore Welcome Their 1st Grandbaby Whose Name Is 'Something Unique'

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are two of the most famous faces in Hollywood, and their marriage was one of the most high-profile during the early 1990s. When they divorced, fans were shocked.

Although the couple's marriage did not stand the test of time, they remained friends and often celebrated special occasions together. Recently, they had a new reason to celebrate.

Willis and Moore share three daughters, Tallulah, 29, Scout, 31, and Rumer, 34. Willis also raises two more daughters, Evelyn, 8, and Mabel, 11, with his current wife, Emma Heming Willis.

Moore and Emma get along well, as do all their daughters, making them one big, blended, happy family. They all spend time together and celebrate every small victory any of them achieves.

Recently, things have not been easy for the family. Willis has been diagnosed with aphasia, a disease that affects your ability to process language, and his health only worsens with time. However, there have been happy moments interspersed in the chaos.

Last year, Moore and Willis' eldest daughter, Rumer, shared that she was expecting her first baby. Moore and Willis expressed excitement at becoming grandparents for the first time.

She took to Instagram on December 21, 2022, to share a photo of her partner kissing her protruding bump as she wore a simple black top. She also shared a picture of an orchid with herself in the background, looking down at her belly and one of her partners looking excited as he held her bump.

Rumer is So Grateful for Her Parents and Sisters

Moore recently turned 60 and has been just as excited as her daughter for the baby. A source confirmed she had been buying the baby gifts, helping Rumer arrange the nursery, and giving her advice throughout the pregnancy.

Rumer has been excited to become a mother and shared that she hoped her child would inherit the goofiness of her grandparents. The 34-year-old said she and her partner love laughing with the family and hope the baby will have a good sense of humor one day.

She planned to have an unmedicated birth because, as she revealed, her mother had done so, and she looked up to her. One thing that she wanted to keep a surprise, though, was the baby's gender.

Rumer shared that because Evelyn is 8, it's been a while since they have had a tiny baby around to dote on. She also joked that her sisters could not stop discussing everything they wanted to do with the baby.

When asked what her baby's name would be, Rumer admitted she and her boyfriend hadn't landed on a name but knew they wanted something that would be "interesting, unique, and different," like the names her parents had given her and her sisters.

She also felt she would need to see the baby before she could decide what their name was. While she loved her baby very much while pregnant, she said she didn't know them and would have to meet them before she knew what to name them.

Moore and Willis gave Rumer advice throughout her pregnancy, but she feels the best advice they could have given her is that she has no control over anything and needs to have grace with herself.

Because she was raised in a big family, Rumer wants to give her child siblings. She confessed she couldn't imagine her life without her sisters and that they were her best friends.

Rumer also confirmed that her boyfriend had been an "angel" during her pregnancy, catering to her physical and emotional needs, all while expressing his excitement at becoming a dad.

When asked what she was most excited about, Rumer confirmed she was excited to meet her child, play with them, and get to know them as the years passed. Talking about her family, Rumer enthused:

"I'm so grateful that I'm so close with my family, and I get to rely on them for support."

Now, after nine long months of waiting to meet the newest member of the Willis-Moore clan, Rumer has finally given birth, confirming the news on social media along with her family.

The First Willis-Moore Grandbaby Has Arrived

Rumer took to Instagram to announce the birth of her daughter just hours ago. She shared a photo of the tiny tot with a mop of black hair in a bassinet and said her name was Louette Isley Thomas Willis. Rumer captioned the post, gushing:

She then mentioned the baby had been born at home on April 18 before addressing Louette again, telling her she was more than the family had ever dreamed of in a child.

Soon after she posted the photo, Rumer began receiving comments of congratulations from fans and family. One of the first to comment was Emma, who said they loved Louetta very much.

Emma also shared the post to her Instagram story and once again said how much they loved the tiny tot. The family has been eagerly awaiting Louetta's arrival and is thrilled to have her here finally. What a wonderful, blended family.
